Size Guide - The Jacket Closet
How to Measure Yourself
Use a soft measuring tape and keep it snug but comfortable. For the best results, take your measurements over a thin shirt.
- Shoulders – Measure from the tip of one shoulder to the other along the back.
- Chest – Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, under your arms.
- Waist – Find the narrowest part of your torso and measure around it.
- Lower Waist – Measure around your stomach, just above your hips.
- Hips – Wrap the tape around the widest part of your hips.
- Sleeve Length – Measure from the shoulder seam down to your wrist.
- Back Length – Measure from the base of your neck to the desired length of your jacket.

Fit Tips
These measurements are for your body, not the jacket itself. The jacket will naturally have a bit of extra room to ensure comfort and layering.
- If you plan to wear thick sweaters or hoodies underneath, we recommend sizing up for added comfort.
- Every body is unique — if you fall between two sizes, go with the one that feels most comfortable to you.
- For a truly tailored fit, we also offer custom sizing, so you can have a jacket made just for you.
